Willow Vale’s Yearlong Class with Jes Clark
I’ve teased this for a while now, but it’s finally happening! I am organizing a yearlong course for 2026.
For a small cohort of 8 students, I will offer monthly weekend in-person classes (12 sessions total, 2 full days per session), with a minimum commitment of 6 sessions.
The cost of this 6 session commitment is $2,000 plus materials, with additional sessions at $200 each plus materials.
Classes will take place at a lovely space in Bangall, NY called Bangallworks
Lunch will be provided by local vendors, and if you know me, you know it’s going to be good.
I’m still working on housing/accommodations offerings, but that will largely depend on who’s coming from where!
Through this course I am hoping to offer as much of my own knowledge as possible while providing guidance on an in-depth weaving practice from a professional weaver’s point of view. But I would also like to instill a love of willow weaving for weaving’s sake - to create, to meditate, to move with the willow. The course itself will be designed around the participants to address their own goals, whether as beginning weavers wanting to start their weaving journey or those with more experience wanting to really dive in and perfect their technique. Broadly, the year will be arranged with basics at the start and advanced techniques and “designing your own baskets” towards the later half.
To apply please fill and send the form below. Application submissions will close on August 31, 2025, and confirmation of acceptance will be sent on September 7. Student confirmation and payment in full for 6 sessions will be due on September 21!
